The TL;DR
Zero Chat History
Messages are wiped instantly the moment a chat ends. They never touch a persistent database.
No Real Identity
No phone numbers. No real names. You are completely anonymous unless you choose to share details.
No Ad Tracking
We don't use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any third-party tracking cookies to stalk you.
Total Control
Delete your account with one click. We wipe all your preferences and metadata permanently.
Data We Actually Collect
We only collect what is strictly necessary to keep the platform running and keep bad actors out.
The Bare Minimum
- Account InfoIf you use Google Login, we store your email. If you use anonymous login, we store nothing personal.
- PreferencesAge group, gender, and display name (used purely for matchmaking logic).
- Technical MetadataIP address, device type, and connection timestamps (retained for 90 days for security auditing).
How We Use It
Your data is never used to profile you or serve you targeted ads. We use your data purely for functional necessity:
Matchmaking
We use your selected gender and age preferences to instantly pair you with compatible partners.
Trust & Safety
IP logs are used by our automated systems to ban malicious users, stop spam bots, and prevent DDOS attacks.
Billing (Premium Only)
If you purchase a subscription, we track your active status. Payments are handled securely by Razorpay.
Retention & Deletion
We practice aggressive data minimization. If we don't need it, we delete it.
Right to Erasure (DPDP Act / GDPR)You can permanently delete your account at any time via the "Edit Profile" menu inside the app. Alternatively, email privacy@blindchat.club to request manual deletion. All associated data will be wiped irreversibly.
